Graduating MBAs name Salman Mufti top instructor

2004-04-28 - At the April 28 graduation dinner, Queen's MBA for Science & Technology Class of 2004 honoured Salman Mufti as "Instructor of the Year". A former director of the MBAst program, Mr. Mufti was warmly lauded for his outstanding contributions to the class both inside and outside the classroom.
The principal aim of Mufti's course, "Managing Information Technology", was to provide MBAst students with the framework and insights to understand the role of information and recognize the capacity of technology to transform the competitive position and operation performance of their business.
In her comments when presenting the award, graduand Sona Mehta applauded Professor Mufti's passion for his field and his innovative use of cases, presentations and personal journals in delivering the course. Special mention was made of his use of a case on disruptive technologies and his consistent availability for one-on-one meetings and support.
