- The first session of National EMBA students arrived in Kingston from across Canada to begin their studies in Queen’s top-ranked Executive MBA program. A total of 175 students are expected to complete the National EMBA Class of ’04, with subsequent sessions arriving in Kingston in the coming weeks. To date, the National EMBA program features teams in 11 cities - Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Regina, London, Hamilton, Toronto, Mississauga, Markham, Scarborough and Montreal. In addition, residents of the Ottawa-Hull area are accommodated at Queen’s downtown Ottawa classroom.

Queen's Executive MBA is ranked by Canadian Business magazine as Canada’s #1 executive MBA program. In addition, BusinessWeek rates Queen's among the top 25 Executive MBA programs in the world, and among the world’s top 10 schools for “entrepreneurship” and “teaching leadership”. Queen's is lauded for its innovative use of real-time videoconferencing to connect professors with students located at Boardroom Learning Teams across Canada. According to the Financial Times (UK), “both (Queen’s) full-time MBA and its executive programme have broken the mould of North American degree programs.”

“Queen’s School of Business is delighted to welcome the Executive MBA Class of ’04 as they begin their academic journey with us,” says Dr. Lewis Johnson, Acting Dean of Queen’s School of Business. “We look forward to guiding Canada’s business leaders of tomorrow through an exciting and challenging period of professional growth.”
