Visa
If you are planning to study in Canada for less than 6 months, you may study under Temporary Resident Status as a visitor. For any period longer than 6 months, a Study Permit is required. Citizens of certain countries and territories will require a Visa to visit Canada. Study Permits
Students intending to work on campus will need a Study Permit regardless of their period of study. No Work Permit is needed to work on campus. Exchange Students are not eligible to work off campus.
The Queen's University International Centre (QUIC) can provide guidance through the process of applying for the necessary visas and permits.
