MSc Program

Admission Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum of a B+ average in the last 2 years of study in a four-year undergraduate degree or higher degree in a discipline that is related to their field of interest. For example, an honours BA in Economics would be suitable background for an MSc in Finance; a degree in Engineering or Mathematics for work in Management Science; an honours BA in Psychology or Sociology for Organizational Behaviour.

Admissions are competitive, and based on the candidate's background as well as the overall program size and number of students in each field.

Application Process

  1. Complete the online application and provide a non-refundable application fee of $105 Canadian, payable by credit card.  Procedures can be found here.
  2. Provide a statement of your career goals, research interests and a copy of your résumé online.
  3. Provide two academic letters of reference from referees familiar with your academic potential. (Forms and instructions are available online).
  4. Official transcript(s) from all universities attended (2 original copies) should be sent to:

  5. GMAT/GRE Tests
    All applicants are required to submit a GMAT or a GRE. Official scores should be sent directly to our office. Use Code 0250 or Q21-QZ-89 for the MSc program. The GRE Code is 0949.
  6. TOEFL Test
    For applicants requiring a TOEFL, scores should be sent directly to our office by Educational Testing Service.  Code 0250-01 for the MSc program.

*Applicants who have studied at an English-speaking university for more than one year are exempt from the TOEFL.

The Admissions Committee

Once we receive the completed online application, your file will proceed to the admissions committee for review. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis from December to March.
Applicants are encouraged to call our office to set up a visit to campus, if possible.
