2008 Schedule
The deadlines below are applicable only to ethics applications that exceed minimal risk or involve aboriginal communities/individuals, and therefore will require a full GREB review.
Applications may be submitted at any time if there are expected to pose minimal risk. Based on Article 1.6 of the Tri Council Policy Statement “The standard for minimal risk is commonly defined as follows: if potential participants can reasonably be expected to regard the probability and magnitude of possible harms implied by participation in the research to be no greater than those encountered by the subject in those aspects of his or her everyday life that relate to the research then the research can be regarded as within the range of minimal risk”.
