Organizational change is one of the key challenges of leadership in both the public and private sector. Managing change is especially difficult in the public sector because many of the tools used in the private sector are either not available, or simply don't work.

Today, the strategic plan is the game plan for organizational change, and this highly practical, two-day program is designed to enable participants to develop and implement a focused and action-oriented strategic plan in the Public Service environment.

Day 1

  • Explore the challenges of implementing organizational change.
  • Discuss Strategic Planning frameworks and concepts and learn how to
lead the development of an effective strategic planning process.
  • Learn how to diagnose the nature of your organization's change challenge.
  • Develop the skills for establishing "winning conditions" for change initiatives.

Day 2

  • Learn how to create speed and build momentum in the change process.
  • Explore how to develop a human flywheel of commitment.
  • Discuss ways to deal with resistance within Public Service constraints.
  • Enhance your change leadership skills.
